Kindermusik Family Time –

for children newborn to 7 years, a 45-minute weekly class perfect for families with more than one child or for moms with babies and/or toddlers who prefer this time slot. Children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing—all the Family Time activities encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too. In this special place for musical, social and emotional learning, your children will strengthen their ties with each other and with you—and they'll start developing the skills they'll need in school and on the neighborhood playground.

Class day: Wednesdays

Class Time: 9:30 to 10:15 (for children 20 months and up)

                  10:45 to 11:30 (for children up to 20 months)

Session length: 10 weeks, starting Weds September 24

Cost/Class: $10 *Special Offer* 1st class will be FREE,

                    so you will only pay for 9 classes ($90, first child), siblings 50% off ($45)

Home Materials Kit: including 2 CDs, 2 Books, 2 instruments, a puppet and a parent guide $65

Total Tuition and Materials: $155 one child, $200 2 children, over 5 months (tuition is prorated after the start of the session)

Class Theme: Here, There and Everywhere – suitable for children newborn to 7yrs

In this unit we'll be exploring five sub-themes center around different family outings:  a visit with a friend, an outing at the park, a trip to the city, an afternoon at the aquarium, and a day on the farm.  Move like animals with this unit’s story Flip-Flap, Sugar Snap!  And follow a girl’s adventure as she loses her jambourine during the day’s outings and then finds it in the story Jingle-Jangle Jambourine.  
Home Materials: Two Books—Flip-Flap, Sugar Snap! and Jingle-Jangle Jambourine, Two Home CDs, Family Guide, board game, Waggs the dog hand puppet and finger puppet, and two jambourine instruments.

About the Class Location

Kindermusik classes are held in my home. I have a large child-friendly house and yard in Glenmoore, just off the Rt 30 bypass. When driving from Exton, go up Rt 322 (Manor Ave) past Cropper’s Market into the Ramblewood subdivision and take the first right to 23 Pheasant Cove. Click here for directions to my house.

The following classes are offered as there is demand:

Kindermusik Village –

for babies, newborn to 1½ years of age this 45-minute weekly class stimulates the natural learning your child is ready for from the first days of life.  Through object and instrument exploration, singing, creative movement and colorful engaging books from the Kindermusik Library™, lap babies, crawlers and walkers participate at their own level as they explore the world around them through music and movement.  The Village provides families a special place for learning and visiting other parents and babies through the built-in “connecting” time before and after class.

For children ages 4 – 6 years old this class provides an emphasis on early music instruction. In each of the 12 monthly units children will learn musical vocabulary, concepts, pre-keyboarding skills, pre-music reading skills and hear many music genres. Each month your child will receive an ABC Music & Me Take-Home Kit with three integrated items:

1. The Family Guide Magazine. Includes Parent Notes highlighting the developmental skills learned in class, an illustrated multi-page story, and numerous home activities related to the class, story, and Take-Home CD.
2. The Take-Home CD. Includes all the songs, rhymes, and stories from class.
3. A bi-monthly take-home instrument. Selected to help develop motor skills and creative in class and at home.
