Kindermusik Family Time –

for children newborn to 7 years, a 45-minute weekly class perfect for families with more than one child or for moms who prefer this time slot. Children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing—all the Family Time activities encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too. In this special place for musical, social and emotional learning, your children will strengthen their ties with each other and with you—and they'll start developing the skills they'll need in school and on the neighborhood playground.

Class day and time: Thursday 9:15 to 10:00 OR 10:30 to 11:15
Session length: 12-weeks starting Sept 16

Kindermusik Village –

For babies up to 18 months, the 45-minute weekly Kindermusik Village class provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that include creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all senses engaged.

Kindermusik Village is for lap babies, crawlers, and walkers. It incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement.

Class day and time: Weds 9:15 - 10:00
Session length: 12-weeks starting Sept 15
Cost/Class: works out to $10/class (siblings 50% off)

For toddlers and preschoolers 18 months and up, this 45-minute weekly Kindermusik Our Time class encourages children to uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control, and communications skills. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification foster language skills, while creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills.

Our Time reflects the emotional foundations of school readiness and the latest research on music and early childhood development. Our Time is a unique opportunity for parent and child to interact and learn together in an unhurried and joyful manner.

Class day and time: Weds 10:30 to 11:15
Session length: 12-weeks starting Sept 15
Cost/Class: works out to $10/class (siblings 50% off)
Home Materials Kit: includes 2 Music CDs, 2 Books, a Stir Xylophone, a Parent Guide, all in a Child's Insulated Lunch Carry Bag (a $60 value, included in total tuition)

For children ages 4 – 6 years old this class provides an emphasis on early music instruction. In each of the 12 monthly units children will learn musical vocabulary, concepts, pre-keyboarding skills, pre-music reading skills and hear many music genres. Each month your child will receive an ABC Music & Me Take-Home Kit with three integrated items:

• The Family Guide Magazine. Includes Parent Notes highlighting the developmental skills learned in class, an illustrated multi-page story, and numerous home activities related to the class, story, and Take-Home CD.
• The Take-Home CD. Includes all the songs, rhymes, and stories from class.
• A bi-monthly take-home instrument. Selected to help develop motor skills and creativity in class and at home
